Our Approach

Before learning how to read and spell, ABC identification and blending skills are important to obtain while learning to read. These are the few strategies used to help the students learn how to read. These strategies help readers learn how to sound out words and learn sight words. Mastering these skills will ensure they will be able to break down each word and learn how to pronounce the words correctly. Dustin Clarke, Morris Alder Elementary School, Southfield, MI- Rising 5th grade math student learning geometry lesson on triangles. Dustin has been a student at Literacy Logic for three months improving his math skills and becoming more confident in math. His scores in math has increased from when he first started tutoring. Each student is given an entrance exam at the beginning of the month and an exit exam at the end of the moth to see their growth. Please view the results page to see his progress.

Jason Mathuranayagam and Jeremy Mathuranayagam , Primarschule Talhof-Erlen, Winterthur, Switzerland-Rising 2nd and 4th graders students are learning about the chemistry of chemical change and physical change. Jason and Jeremy has been with the Literacy Logic program for two months and becoming more inquisitive and confident students. Students are provided with a hands-on experience to help them better understand science concepts.

Jason Mathuranayagam and Jeremy Mathuranayagam , Primarschule Talhof-Erlen, Winterthur, Switzerland-Rising 2nd and 4th graders students are learning about the chemistry of testing ph in water using an Ecotek Earth Science in a box kit. Jason and Jeremy has been with the Literacy Logic program now for a year and becoming more inquisitive and confident students. Students are provided with a hands on experience to help them better understand science concepts.

Dustin Clarke, Morris Alder Elementary School, Southfield, MI- 5th grade math student learning mixed numbers. Dustin has been a student at Literacy Logic for a year now improving his math skills and becoming more confident in math. Dustin tested into the top middle school in the state of Michigan.

Drue Keys, Renaissance High School, Detroit, MI- Rising 11th grade math student learning how to perform ionic and covalent bond equations. Drue Keys has been a student at Literacy Logic for four months improving in chemistry. Drue Keys now has an A in his chemistry class and will continue to progress throughout the year.
